Changes Coming to Hancock County COAD
2022 will be bringing some changes to Hancock County COAD. After pandemic disruptions and cancelled meetings, it is time to get back on track. In light of the recent major events across the country, we need to renew our efforts to engage more of the Hancock County community in preparedness efforts. Invite your neighbors and friends.
The EMA volunteer group and the Hancock County COAD will start meeting together. The two groups are each refocusing their training and activities in order to work more closely together.
Meetings will consist of training appropriate to the groups roles during a disaster. They are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Emergency Operations Center at 640 South Franklin in Greenfield. The public is encouraged to attend
