Next month marks the annual ShakeOut season for earthquake drills. On October 20, everyone is encouraged to take part in a “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” drill at 10:20 a.m.

The event also has other earthquake preparedness activities. Check out the ShakeOut Drill Manual for tips for K–12 schools to determine their level of participation.
